The Blog is Back Baby!!!

Hip Hip Hooray!!! The Blog is Back!!

I know, I know.... it's been FOREVER since I last blogged and there have been so many changes and so many events since then! I don't even know where to start.

I have expanded my wedding photography, upped my game, took a few classes and refreshed my education. Over the last year it has been a crazy, hectic ride with lots of twists and turns! And, to be honest, I am the worst writer and the worst BLOGGER ever! I never know what to say, and when I do, it comes out awkward and goofy, kind of like me!

On a super fun note: I have upgraded all of my equipment! So now it can keep up with my amazing weddings and families. It is amazing the difference it has made, I guess I didn't realize how much of a slow poke my older camera was until I upgraded. If you are a photographer that is on the fence about upgrading your camera body or lenses ----- DO IT! Really, you won't regret it.

Since my last blog, besides the upgrades, I have been contacted by various companies, photographed some amazing business leaders in our community and I will be featured in an upcoming wedding blog! I can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!

I have some fun blogs planned for the next few months and can't wait to get them published, so stay tuned!

For now, though, I will share a few images from recent sessions and events. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!

Honestly, have you ever seen a ring bearer as cute as this? I loved the adorable chaos of this clan!

One of my favorite ways to capture the grooms ring. Don't you just love it?!

This bride made her own bouquet! You heard me, she made this herself!!! It was stunning!

What a sweet moment between the groom and his little niece. I think she adores him!

One of the nicest families I have ever photographed. Just look at these adorable kiddos!

His giggles were the best ever!

Can we just take this in for a moment? It's like they stepped off a designer runway, what a gorgeous family!

Ok, so these girls are at the top of my list of favorite clients! I have had the honor of photographing the older girls graduation photos over the past few years and then, their family photos! Wow! I love repeat clients. I get to watch families grow and change and it is such an honor!

I loved the giggles with mama! They just oooze love and it makes my heart explode!

I had to capture just a couple of the older girls again, just to reminisce of their graduation photos, and I am so glad I did! Real smiles here y'all!!

I love making them laugh, even if I do act goofy to get it! The genuine smiles and laughs is well worth it!

I love how a good black and white image can just feel so timeless! She is stunning enough as it is, but this black and white just speaks to my heart. The sparkle in her eyes!! LOVE IT!
